The Insinkerator compatible change over water filter kit replaces the current filter head you are using, very simple to do just remove the two water lines from the Insinkerator filter head then then trim half an inch of water tube from the inlet and outlet tube then insert to your new cost effective quick change filter head. 

The advantage is you save a lot of money and get one hell of a very high quality quick change water filter system.
